This was a really great tiny gig. The 30x50ft tent was only half-filled to give you some idea of size... Maybe 100/150 people. I volunteered a friend (Jon) and myself to help out with the technical side of the event. We were the tech team from Alton College for the last 2 years, and I thought that it might be nice for us to do one last event together before we go our seperate ways and off to Uni. We were provided with around £150 for the speaker hire, and the Generator was paid for, but all of the rest of what you see we managed to borrow from companies and Alton College (Thank you!). We spent 2 days before the event (prepping kit), the whole day of the event (setting up) and then another day after the event (clearing up) - All for FREE!
We worked out the price of the event to be around £2000 for the hire, not including our labour.
The evening was really great! Loud live music from a band and a separate, extremely talented artist on the guitar and vocals. Loud music and tech will always be a passion of mine!

For those who want to know, we had a Behringer sound system (yea, yea... but not bad for the allowance remember!!) including an EQ, Desk and seperate speakers (mid/sub and high). The lights included some of the disco variety from Martin (they gave a nice effect through the fog) and also there were a number of LED Pars belonging to Jon friends (I think 0.5W although don't quote me... the sound is mine remember!)
